Roger Goodell

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to remind you that gambling is illegal.

Week Fourteen

Commissioner Roger Goodell has been seeing a lot about fascism in the news lately. Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to state now for the record that the National Football League will never be run like a fascist state.

The National Football League would never engage in nationalism, the idea of uniting behind a common shield, exalting the shield and all who stand behind it above all else.

The National Football League will never be run in a totalitarian manner, where the voice and choices of one man decides the law of the land. A state where no human or spiritual values can exist, much less hold value. A state where all diversity is transcended in order to avoid the disastrous pluralism tearing the league apart.

The National Football League would never engage in a fascist economy, intervening in agreements between individual “team-states” in order to keep the classes (large-market team-states & small-market team-states) separate. A productive worker is most important above all else in the NFL. The means of said production is, of course, irrelevant.

The National Football League does not agree with the fascist belief that violent action is an encouraged necessity. Football is as non-violent now as it has ever been. Lookwhat’sthatoverthere!

The National Football League does not agree with the fascist belief that women should stay home to bear children and keep house. All women are welcome at NFL games! But don’t you fucking dare bring a tampon into our stadiums.

To those who say there are many glaring similarities between fascism and the way the National Football League is operated, Commissioner Roger Goodell must once again reiterate: Lookwhat’sthatoverthere!
