Commissioner Roger Goodell’s Gambling Is Illegal – Week 8

Roger Goodell

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to remind you that gambling is illegal.

Week Eight

It has been brought to Commissioner Roger Goodell’s attention that the human holiday of Halloween is upon us. The time of being aware of the scourge of breast cancer has come to a close. The time of minimum wage-earning cheerleaders in somehow even skimpier outfits than usual has arrived.

Halloween is a holiday to celebrate spooky ghouls and tasty treats. But it is not a holiday to be taken lightly. It is not a time for Caucasian men to apply shoe polish to their faces and costume themselves as NFL players who have recently run into trouble with the law, especially football players who have allegedly used violence against women. Because these NFL players simply do not exist. Greg Hardy does not exist. Johnny Manziel does not exist. Ray Rice does not exist. OJ Simpson is a fictional character from an upcoming television program on the FX network.

It is not humorous to make light of abusive personalities. It is even more not humorous to make light of abusive personalities from the National Football League, because there has never been such a personality.

The National Football League has a wonderful relationship with its female fans. Did you see all the pink merchandise you could purchase this month? Are you aware of breast cancer? I know I am. Until November 1st.

Please be respectful in dressing up this Halloween. Maybe go as a deflated football. lol

It did just need a bit of cogitation although I did need BD’s exlionatpan for 11a. Will start swotting obscure things to do with water ready for the next puzzle in the series.
