Commissioner Roger Goodell’s Gambling Is Illegal – Conference Championships
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to remind you that gambling is illegal.
National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell would like to address the issue of politics and football. The sport of football has long been intertwined with politicians and the Washington elite. The Commissioner’s office holds a special relationship with many political types as do numerous owners. Some have said there is a conflict of interest with these relationships, but the Commissioner would like to go on record as stating that could not be farther from the truth.
Where would America be without its politicians and government officials. In Soviet Russia, that’s where. And though the structure and discipline of that regime is admirable in the Commissioner’s eyes, we live in America. That fact has been affirmed. Without politicians, who would advise the citizens to pay for brand-new state-of-the-art football amphitheaters and arena stadiums. The Soviet Russians? Commissioner Goodell thinks not, though — again — he sympathizes.
The only conflict of interest when it comes to politicians and owners commingling is a conflict over who gets the best seats in those elite sky-boxes so they can show their interest in a nice, safe game of American football.
