Y2K: It’s Already Too Late is computer manual author Jason Kelly’s first delving into the world of fiction, written in 1998. Computers! The following are excerpts from my new favorite book of all-time…

If candles would lift their spirits, candles they would get.

~~~
Every man’s cheeks and chin were covered in raggedy stubble. Greasy heads framed angry faces.
~~~

“I’m glad you’ve got your mother’s brains.”

~~~
“Ugh,” she said to Danielle. “I hate Orange Crush.”
Danielle nodded.
